Fladder Danmark A/S is presenting a new deburring machine with the name FLADDER 200/GYRO which is the next generation of the well known FLADDER AUT, that until now has set the market standard for automatic deburring of sheet metal and 3 dimensional parts.

New features of the FLADDER 200/GYRO are:

A new vacuum unit ensures an even safer fixation of work pieces. The vacuum effect has increased 30% with the same power consumption.

The central gearhead is as standard now equipped with conical spindles. This leaves the customer with more options when it comes to the choice of tools. An option is Ø 400mm abrasive cylinders with the benefit of increased oscillation of the gearhead and 40% more deburring effect.

A simplified control panel with touchscreen makes operation of the machine easy.

The FLADDER 200/GYRO is built in the usual FLADDER standard for heavy-duty work, meaning very low maintenance cost.
The machine is optimized for low power consumption, and with the optional Energy Saving system, even further energy reduction is possible.

The Next Generation For Manufacturing of Complex and Splined Transmission Parts https://www.leifeld.co.uk/2016/04/06/praesent-vestibulum-dui-quis-aliquet-uctor-lectus-tellus-interdum-elit/ https://www.leifeld.co.uk/2016/04/06/praesent-vestibulum-dui-quis-aliquet-uctor-lectus-tellus-interdum-elit/#respond Wed, 06 Apr 2016 14:28:06 +0000 http://www.leifeld.co.uk/?p=70 read more »]]> The new generation FFC – the legendary flow-forming centre now in vertical mode.

MACHINE DESCRIPTION Vertical spindle configuration:

FOR THE NEW GENERATION FFC. 3 x 120° axis: ideal arrangement for the roll forces

 • Each unit is axially and radially independently programmable.
 • By request a fourth preparation unit for special operations, e.g. splitting, splining, profiling and edge preparation.
 • Intergrated in every machine: the Leifeld developed and licensed programming software FlowForm 2010.
 • Oriented stop of the tailstock and main spindle.
 • Increased tailstock power for deep drawing of hubs.

Production process shown for double clutch housings:

The optimal size and weight of a preform are calculated on the basis of volume computations in the CAD. Besides, the software developed by Leifeld particularly for this application “FlowForm 2010“ also prepares the CNC program for the flow-forming centre from the partial design drawing.

On the FFC machine the first step of the programme is to split the blank in order to make the flow-turn up-/ downwards possible. In the second step the lower segment of the double clutch housing is flow formed. In the further process the second upper half is flow formed likewise. Remarkably this new Leifeld FFC is able to position the various rollers between the particular working steps during the flow-forming process.

The finished component can now be ejected alternatively by the spindle integra-ted unit or ejected by a scraper ring on the spindle.

Complex multipart drive components

Benefits

 • Full support during the production development from the company Leifeld.
 • Simple and fast programming with FlowForm 2010.
 • High precision manufacture with intelligent construction units.
 • Individual summarizing of manufacturing steps.
 • Flexible construction for compact installation.
 • Shortest loading times with assistance of double robot loading.
 • Simplest and fastest set up time owing to integrated tool change system.
 • Operator friendly machine with low-maintenance.
 • Optimal accessibility of the machine from 3 sides.

Pressure Controlled Grinding – The New Way https://www.leifeld.co.uk/2016/04/06/venenatis-risus-ut-pretium-vivamus-non/ https://www.leifeld.co.uk/2016/04/06/venenatis-risus-ut-pretium-vivamus-non/#respond Wed, 06 Apr 2016 14:27:50 +0000 http://www.leifeld.co.uk/?p=64 read more »]]> new technical development for pressure controlled grinding has now been successfully proven at companies like Germany-based Thyssen and Schmolz & Bickenbach, Sandvik Steel in Sweden, Romac Metals, USA and many others.

As a new technology for high production combined with low costs in belt consumption, pressure controlled grinding is ahead of conventional grinding methods.

Löser, with more than 60 years experience in beltgrinding technology, has invented this system and has continuously developed it over the years to reach the state-of-the-art grinding system of today. The principle is based on the philosophy that even bent tubes find their way through the machines without causing pressure variations like those in fixed grinding stations, which are mounted on slides. In the Löser grinding stations, the grinding heads and regulating wheels are pressure loaded and self-centring.

This pressure controlled grinding can only be achieved in systems which work without a slide. The heads are therefore mounted on an axle, so that the head can rotate and be very finely adjusted via a cylinder. A conventional grinding head on a slide would have too much weight for quick response times.
